On September 2, 2024, Ferrari secured victory at the 6th round of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) at Lone Star Le Mans. The AF Corse’s 83 car, driven by Yifei Ye, Robert Shwartzman, and Robert Kubica, took first place at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA), marking a historic day for Ferrari. On the same day, Ferrari also won the F1 Italian GP, making it the first time in history that Ferrari won two world championship races on the same day. The victory at COTA is Ferrari’s third win in the WEC Hypercar class this season.
