TOYOTA GAZOO Racing’s GR010 HYBRID No.7, driven by Kamui Kobayashi, Mike Conway, and Nyck de Vries, started from 9th position at the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) Round 6 Lone Star Le Mans and fought its way up to secure a 2nd place podium finish. Despite a late penalty, the team’s excellent strategy and driver performance allowed them to compete for the lead. Meanwhile, the GR010 HYBRID No.8 faced challenges with collisions and penalties, finishing 15th. As a result, TGR overtook Porsche to claim the top spot in the Manufacturers’ Championship.
