Dongfeng Lantu has launched its first global model, the Lantu Zhiyin. On August 23, two Lantu Zhiyin vehicles rolled off the assembly line at the Dongfeng Yunfeng plant, marking a significant step forward in Dongfeng Motor’s expansion of its new energy vehicle lineup. This event also highlights Dongfeng’s commitment to brand enhancement and global development.
The Lantu Zhiyin, the fourth strategic model from Dongfeng Lantu, is the first to be built on a new-generation pure electric platform. Targeted primarily at young family users, this high-end pure electric SUV aims to set new industry benchmarks with its cutting-edge technology.
The model features a 901km range, an 800V silicon carbide platform, and 5C charging capabilities, allowing for a 515km charge in just 15 minutes. The Lantu Zhiyin’s design adheres to the “Five Principles” and includes a dual front-face design to meet personalized needs.
The Lantu Zhiyin will officially enter pre-sales on August 30 at the Chengdu Motor Show, where pre-sale prices and purchase rights will be announced.
