On August 26, 2024, at the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort, George Russell finished in P7, and Lewis Hamilton in P8. Starting from P4 and P14 respectively, both drivers made gains but struggled with tyre degradation. Despite pushing hard in the final stages, they could not close the gap to the front-runners, leaving the team with work to do ahead of the Italian Grand Prix in Monza next week.
