On June 12, 2024, Great Wall Motors launched a unique live streaming event titled “Great Wall Motors Coffee OS 3 Smart Space First 100-Person In-Car Tech Sharing Session.” The event was simultaneously held in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Baoding, where Great Wall Motors’ Vice President of Intelligence, Wu Huixiao, demonstrated the leading technology and rich functions of Coffee OS 3 through technical explanations and in-car demonstrations. Nearly 100 media outlets participated and live-streamed from the interior of the Coffee OS 3’s first model, Wei Blue Mountain Smart Drive Edition, providing an immersive experience for the audience.
Coffee OS 3 is the third-generation smart space system fully developed by Great Wall Motors, designed to meet the personalized needs of all in-car users through AI empowerment. This system brings innovation in five aspects: aesthetics, performance, interaction, acoustics, and intelligence.
- Aesthetics: The design combines traditional Chinese colors with modern fashion elements, featuring the industry’s first custom font “Great Wall Black” and over 1,821 redesigned icons.
- Performance: Enhanced CPU and GPU capabilities improve fluidity, offering a diverse app ecosystem and highly customizable UI.
- Interaction: Coffee OS 3 introduces the world’s first spatial perception gesture interaction technology “Coffee Air Touch,” allowing gesture-based control.
- Acoustics: The system incorporates the world’s first stereo to panoramic sound technology, providing a cinema-grade listening experience.
- Intelligence: The integration of the AI model “Coffee GPT” allows for learning and evolving based on user habits and preferences.
Coffee OS 3 will debut in the Wei Blue Mountain Smart Drive Edition, also featuring the new generation driver assistance system “Coffee Pilot Ultra,” exemplifying Great Wall Motors’ intelligent strategy.
