BYD Signs Strategic Cooperation MOU with Ayvens to Boost Green Transportation in Europe

On July 2, BYD and international sustainable mobility service company Ayvens officially signed a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) at BYD’s headquarters in Shenzhen, aiming to promote green transportation in Europe. Ayvens Group CEO Tim Albertsen, BYD Chairman and President Wang Chuanfu, and BYD Executive Vice President Li Ke witnessed this significant moment.

According to the agreement, BYD will collaborate with Ayvens to provide European corporate customers with a diverse range of new energy models, promoting the development of sustainable fleets. Ayvens’ European customers will benefit from tailored electric vehicle fleet solutions, including consulting services, operational leasing, and end-to-end charging services. In the first year of the MOU, the partners plan to provide electric vehicle fleet services to over 30 European companies.

Additionally, BYD’s extensive dealer network in Europe will support Ayvens in offering white-label full-service leasing solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and private users, initially launching operations in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, with plans to expand to other European markets. The two companies will actively explore further cooperation opportunities in the retail sector, deepening the white-label operational leasing model to drive the electrification of European mobility.

BYD Chairman and President Wang Chuanfu emphasized that innovation and cooperation are crucial for advancing global new energy vehicle development. The partnership with Ayvens reflects the commitment of both parties to accelerating the adoption of new energy in Europe. Together, they will provide innovative and diverse products to promote green fleet development, offering more sustainable mobility options worldwide.

Ayvens Group CEO Tim Albertsen stated, “Ayvens Group shares BYD’s vision of promoting environmentally friendly transportation. BYD’s leadership in the new energy vehicle sector is impressive. We look forward to accelerating the electrification of European automotive transportation through our cooperation and continuous technological innovation.”

Since September 2022, BYD has actively expanded into the European market. To date, it has introduced seven models to over 20 European countries and markets, including the UK, France, and Germany. From hatchbacks to SUVs, BYD’s diverse product lineup meets market demands. On July 4, BYD celebrated the rollout of its 8 millionth new energy vehicle from its Thailand factory, becoming the world’s first automaker to achieve this milestone.
