Audi Japan held the “Audi Sustainable Future Tour Hokkaido” on September 10-11, 2024, touring northern Hokkaido with eight e-tron electric vehicles. Participants visited key wind power facilities in the region, learning about the potential and challenges of renewable energy in Hokkaido. The tour included visits to the Kita Toyotomi Substation, one of the world’s largest battery storage facilities, and the Otonrui Wind Farm with its 28 wind turbines. Discussions were held on achieving a sustainable future.
