Volkswagen | Green steel for sustainable mobility: Thyssenkrupp Steel and Volkswagen Group’s new collaboration
Volkswagen and Thyssenkrupp have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the supply of low-carbon steel from Thyssenkrupp’s future direct reduction plant. The steel, called bluemint® Steel, will help reduce CO2 emissions in Volkswagen’s supply chain, supporting the company’s sustainability goals. Supply will begin in 2028. Source: Here

BMW | Reducing CO2 emissions from the Paint Shop
BMW has successfully replaced the traditional gas-based exhaust purification process in its paint shops with the electric regenerative thermal oxidation (eRTO) system. This innovation uses renewable electricity to significantly reduce CO2 emissions.
