On September 2, the launch of the “NIO Power Swap Station | Tongliao Xilamulun Street” marked the milestone of 2,500 NIO power swap stations in China. This station is the first in the eastern region of Inner Mongolia, demonstrating the implementation of NIO’s comprehensive county-level power swap plan.
Out of the 2,500 stations nationwide, 838 are located along highways. NIO continues to strengthen its highway power swap network, aiming to cover 19 major metropolitan areas by 2025.
NIO’s battery swap system also offers upgrade services, with over 280,000 upgrades completed to date. Additionally, NIO leads the industry with 3,968 self-built charging stations and 23,202 charging piles.
