At the 2024 TEDA Auto Forum, GAC Group’s General Manager, Feng Xingya, delivered a keynote speech highlighting that 2025 will be a significant year for GAC’s own brand plug-in products. He emphasized that China’s auto industry is at a critical turning point, facing various challenges and risks. The company plans to focus on technologies such as EVs, PHEVs, REEVs, HEVs, and hydrogen fuel cells, with a strong lineup of PHEV and REEV models set to launch in 2025. Feng also stressed the importance of Chinese brands becoming internationally competitive and aiming for high-quality development through technological innovation.
