The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team finished the 2024 Italian Grand Prix with Lewis Hamilton in P5 and George Russell in P7. Russell sustained front-wing damage on the frantic opening lap, while Hamilton also had contact but was able to continue without issues. Both drivers struggled with tire graining and ultimately adopted a two-stop strategy. Despite their efforts, they were unable to improve their positions. The team now turns its focus to the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in two weeks.
