On August 29, 2024, Mazda Motor Corporation announced its special sponsorship of the 35th Media Roadster 4-Hour Endurance Race, to be held on September 21 at Tsukuba Circuit. This one-make race, which began in 1989 and now marks its 35th edition, will challenge for the Guinness World Record™ as the “Longest running one-make automobile racing series.” The theme for this year is “Celebrating with Roadster Enthusiasts and Expanding into the Future,” focusing on celebrating the milestone with participants and fans, while also introducing carbon-neutral fuels and enhancing the accessibility of motorsports.
