On August 26, 2024, the European Commission issued a preliminary final decision on the anti-subsidy investigation, estimating a subsidy rate of 36.3% for SAIC. The final decision is expected by October 30. SAIC announced its commitment to overcoming the short-term impact and taking legal measures to protect its rights. On the same day, SAIC and ZTE jointly launched a global platform for China’s leading automotive cloud communication products and signed an agreement to deepen strategic cooperation.
