NIO Energy has announced a series of new plans, products, and groundbreaking innovations at the “Power UP 2024 NIO Power Up Day,” based on a deep understanding of user needs and driven by a development model of “user orientation, technology leadership, infrastructure first, and open cooperation.”
NIO aims to establish NIO charging piles and battery swap stations across all county-level administrative regions in China by June 30, 2025. Additionally, NIO has launched the “NIO Portable Car Charger,” a new product that offers fast charging with up to 40kW of power for emergency scenarios. The company continues to drive energy transformation within the industry and has developed an energy management system based on V2G technology.
NIO also emphasizes open cooperation with society for the construction of charging and swapping stations, offering multiple partnership programs. NIO Energy’s new headquarters and manufacturing center have been established in Wuhan, with the goal of producing 1,000 battery swap stations annually.
