Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, which provided technical support for “Team Mitsubishi Ralliart,” participated in the Asia Cross Country Rally (AXCR) 2024 held in Thailand from August 11 to 17. Driver Katsuhiko Taguchi secured a 5th place overall, improving from last year’s 8th place, and vowed for a full comeback next year. Other team members also showed strong performance, though Chayapon Yoter unfortunately had to retire due to mechanical issues in Leg 5. General Manager Hiroshi Masuoka expressed hopes for feedback from this rally to be utilized in future production car development.
