Mercedes-AMG kicked off the second half of the 2024 DTM season at the Nürburgring with Maro Engel finishing third in Saturday’s race and starting from pole position on Sunday. Despite a collision that cost him a potential win, Engel secured a second-place finish, moving him up to third in the drivers’ standings. Mercedes-AMG also remains second in the manufacturers’ standings.
