On August 12, 2024, Li Auto’s L9 successfully passed the “SUPER CRASH” super test challenge conducted by the China Automotive Engineering Research Institute. The test simulated a scenario where the L9 was impacted from both the front and rear by heavy trucks. The vehicle demonstrated exceptional structural integrity and occupant protection, with airbags and emergency systems functioning as intended. The L9 had previously received the highest rating in C-IASI tests, further proving its robust safety features.
