Changan Automobile｜Promoting the Establishment of New International Rules for New Energy Vehicles

In August 2024, the United Nations officially released the updated version of “Test Procedure for Power of Hybrid Electric Vehicles and Pure Electric Vehicles with Multi-Motor Drive” (UN GTR No.21). This regulation was led by China, with significant contributions from Changan Automobile. Changan proposed the inclusion of the “All-in-One” electric drive system, widely used in China’s automotive industry, into international standards. This proposal was successfully adopted, reflecting the technological superiority of Chinese-brand new energy vehicles and marking a significant step in China’s participation in setting international automotive standards.
