Audi has commenced the production of the new Audi A5 family at its Neckarsulm plant. This model, based on the Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) with partially electrified drive systems and a new electronic architecture, represents Audi’s pursuit of sustainable production. The goal is to make all models manufactured at the Neckarsulm site net carbon-neutral by 2025 through advanced automation and innovative technologies. The new paint shop significantly reduces energy consumption, and sustainable water usage in production is being promoted.
