Volkswagen Group’s Brand Group Core maintained stable sales revenue in the first half of 2024 but faced significant impacts on profitability due to high fixed costs and one-off effects. The Brand Group Core’s sales revenue for H1 2024 was €69.1 billion, up 0.4% year-on-year, while operating profit decreased by €350 million, leading to an operating profit margin of 5.0%. To boost profitability in the second half, the Brand Group Core will focus on cost efficiency and realizing synergies.
