Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. will conduct a demonstration experiment for the welfare and joint transportation service “Goissho” in Izumo City from August 1 to August 30, 2024. This service aims to streamline transportation duties for multiple day-care facilities, addressing caregiver shortages and ensuring transportation for the elderly. The experiment, managed by Izumo City with Daihatsu handling operational workflows and coordination, involves 5 corporations and 7 facilities, transporting a total of 850 people. The results will inform future service implementations.
