On June 4, 2024, under the unified leadership and organization of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the Ministry of Transport (collectively “Four Ministries”), China’s L3-level intelligent connected vehicle access and road test pilot work achieved phased results, with Changan Automobile being selected as one of the first L3-level pilot units nationwide. This marks another significant milestone in Changan’s “Beidou Tianshu” intelligent strategy.
Changan has been deeply involved in the intelligent field for 14 years, possessing 14 global production bases and gaining support from over 25 million users. Currently, the company holds over 200 core technologies in driving, cockpit, and intelligent driving domains, with full-stack controllable capabilities.
Notably, the L3-level Traffic Jam Pilot (TJP) system provides conditional autonomous driving in traffic congestion scenarios, reducing driving fatigue and enhancing the driving experience. The TJP system uses seven-layer redundancy architecture and five-layer sensing technology to ensure safe driving.
