Kobe Town in Gifu Prefecture, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., and Gifu Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. have signed a partnership agreement to utilize electric vehicles (EVs) for achieving decarbonization and resilience. Under this agreement, Kobe Town will promote the use of EVs and their application during disasters, while Nissan will support through its Blue Switch initiative. Kobe Town aims to become a zero-carbon city by 2050 and is working towards sustainable urban development.
