Shanghai Auto has delivered its second ocean-going car carrier (RO-RO ship), commissioned by China State Shipbuilding Corporation, named “SAIC Anji Jincheng.” This clean energy RO-RO ship is 200 meters long, 38 meters wide, and 13 stories high, with 7,600 parking spaces and a displacement of over 40,000 tons. It uses LNG dual-fuel to reduce CO2 emissions by 30%. “SAIC Anji Jincheng” and its sister ship “SAIC Anji Shencheng,” launched earlier this year, are deployed on Shanghai Auto’s European self-operated routes, accelerating the overseas expansion of Chinese brands.
