Audi has announced that former Ferrari F1 team head Mattia Binotto will join its Formula 1 project as the Chief Operating and Chief Technical Officer starting August 1, 2024. This move is part of Audi’s realignment of the management structure at Sauber Motorsport AG, ensuring the independence and autonomy of the Audi F1 project.
