The 3rd Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee was held in Beijing from July 15 to 18, 2024. The meeting, attended by 199 central committee members and 165 alternate members, featured a key speech by General Secretary Xi Jinping.
The session reviewed and approved the work report of the Political Bureau and adopted the “Decision on Further Deepening Reform and Promoting Chinese Modernization.” Discussions highlighted the need for high-quality economic development, innovation, education, rule of law, and strengthening national security. Additionally, the session decided to remove Qin Gang from the Central Committee.
