Volkswagen’s PowerCo and QuantumScape Announce Landmark Agreement to Industrialize Solid-State Batteries

Volkswagen Group’s battery company PowerCo and QuantumScape have signed a landmark agreement to industrialize next-generation solid-state lithium-metal battery technology. Under the agreement, PowerCo can produce up to 40GWh of battery cells annually using QuantumScape’s technology. This collaboration aims to accelerate the advancement of electric vehicle battery technology.
