On July 4, BYD held a ceremony in Rayong, Thailand, to mark the completion of its Thai factory and the rollout of its 8 millionth new energy vehicle. This event signifies the beginning of a new chapter in BYD’s global expansion. The Thai factory was built and commenced production in just 16 months, with an annual production capacity of about 150,000 vehicles. Concurrently, BYD became the world’s first car manufacturer to achieve the production of 8 million new energy vehicles.
