Volkswagen Japan will begin accepting pre-orders for the new “Passat” in September, with shipments scheduled for November. The new “Passat,” which adopts the MQB evo architecture, features an expanded body size for improved interior space and cargo capacity. It offers a variety of powertrains including a 48V mild hybrid, clean diesel with 4WD, and a plug-in hybrid.
