Suzuki Motor Corporation’s Indian subsidiary, Maruti Suzuki, has started operating a biogas plant at its Manesar plant. Using Napier grass and canteen waste, the plant aims to reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 190 tons annually. Over the next three years, Maruti Suzuki will invest INR 4.5 billion in renewable energy projects.
