Since its inception, China FAW has contributed to the national industry and supported the growth of the automotive sector. After a visit by General Secretary Xi Jinping in 2020, FAW has focused on technological innovation and brand strengthening. In 2023, they pushed forward further reforms, launching the “531” plan. Implementing the “Four Capabilities Reform” including leadership promotion, salary adjustments, and employee mobility, FAW aims to invigorate its organization. Additionally, a new research facility was established in Guangdong Province, advancing next-generation technology development and talent cultivation.
