On September 27, the 2024 World New Energy Vehicle Conference opened in Haikou under the theme “Low-Carbon Transformation and Global Cooperation.” Changan Automobile Chairman Zhu Huarong delivered a keynote speech, highlighting three key features of China’s automotive industry: the formation of the multi-power era, the emergence of new luxury through technological advancements, and the clear development of multiple brands. Zhu also emphasized the importance of open cooperation and proposed that countries should prioritize the development of new energy vehicles in China before expanding globally.
