Wayne McConnell has led Milford Proving Ground for over 40 years and continues to drive the future of vehicle testing.
Based in Michigan, McConnell’s career at GM started in 1982 as a test engineer for tires and wheels. Throughout his career, he has held various roles, eventually overseeing GM’s vehicle integration globally. Now, he is focused on balancing virtual and physical testing to speed up GM’s product development process while maintaining rigorous testing standards.
