BMW Group has begun testing the Figure 02 humanoid robot, developed by the California-based company Figure, at its Spartanburg plant in South Carolina, USA. Weighing 70 kg and standing 170 cm tall, Figure 02 successfully supports tasks such as placing sheet metal parts. This robot is part of BMW’s iFACTORY vision, and the trial aims to explore its integration into production environments.
