Survival Rally of the Season, Bates Claims 2nd Place Podium in His First Challenge in Japan

The 2024 All Japan Rally Championship Round 7 “RALLY HOKKAIDO” was held in Obihiro City, Hokkaido, where Harry Bates and Coral Taylor of TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Australia (TGRA) secured a second-place podium finish. Meanwhile, TGR-WRJ drivers Tomokazu Shinkai and Yuichi Ando, along with Naoki Otake and Misaki Hashimoto, retired from the race. This challenging rally tested the drivers’ skills and highlighted the evolution of the machines used.
