Ford|Ford Expands Electrification Strategy to Enhance Customer Reach and Profitability

Ford announced an expansion of its electrification strategy, aiming to offer more choices to customers, improve profitability, and continue reducing CO2 emissions. The updated vehicle lineup includes a new commercial van set to begin production in Ohio in 2026 and new pickup trucks launching in 2027. Ford is also realigning its battery sourcing plan to reduce costs and accelerate battery production in the U.S., strengthening its competitive edge in electric vehicle pricing.
