Mitsubishi Motors Corporation has announced a substantial improvement to the crossover SUV ‘Outlander’ plug-in hybrid EV model (‘Outlander PHEV’), which will be launched domestically this fall. The new drive battery significantly extends the EV cruising range, and the interior and exterior quality has been enhanced. Improvements include a larger display for the smartphone-linked navigation system, the adoption of seat ventilation, and a new audio system jointly developed with Yamaha Corporation.
