On June 5, 2024, Changan Automobile, in collaboration with the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), successfully held a “Sourcing Day” event in Bangkok. This event symbolizes the deepening of Changan’s overseas development philosophy of “long-termism, green low-carbon, local operations, and mutual development” in Thailand. The event attracted over 300 Thai suppliers and more than 500 guests, resulting in cooperation intentions with over 70 suppliers, of which more than 80% are Thai-owned. This event highlights Changan’s commitment to the Thai market and the strong recognition from the Thai government and local enterprises. Changan’s efforts in localization aim to boost local employment, promote economic prosperity, and enhance the international competitiveness of the automotive industry in Southeast Asia.
