On July 2, 2024, Volkswagen AG hosted the Volkswagen Group Award 2024, recognizing its best suppliers. The ceremony, marking the 20th anniversary of the award, was held at Hafen 1 in Wolfsburg with around 250 guests from 29 countries. Ten companies were awarded in ten categories, with Salzgitter AG winning in the Sustainability category.
