GM has been inducted into the Indiana Manufacturers Hall of Fame, recognizing its over 80 years of commitment to Indiana’s economy and local communities. Employing nearly 6,000 people across seven facilities, GM has invested $2.8 billion in the state in the last decade. GM plans to expand its Indiana operations, including establishing an EV battery manufacturing joint venture with Samsung SDI by 2027, contributing further to the local economy and workforce.
