Toyota Motor Corporation and BMW Group have agreed to strengthen their cooperation towards realizing a hydrogen society and achieving carbon neutrality. Both companies will begin joint development of the third-generation fuel cell system, with BMW’s mass-produced fuel cell vehicle planned for production in 2028. They will also work on developing hydrogen infrastructure and establishing a sustainable supply network.
