Dongfeng Motor reported that from January to August 2024, it sold 530,000 new energy vehicles (NEVs), marking a 108.5% year-on-year increase. In August alone, 74,000 NEVs were sold, an 81.6% increase from the same month last year. The company’s self-branded vehicle sales reached 873,000 units during the same period, growing by 44.8% year-on-year. Additionally, vehicle exports reached 157,000 units, representing a 13.2% year-on-year increase, with 26,000 units exported in August, a 51.9% increase compared to the previous year.
