SAIC (Shanghai Automotive) reported a profit of $6.63 billion for the first half of 2024 and sold 619,000 new energy vehicles from January to August. According to the half-year report released on August 29, the company wholesaled 1.827 million vehicles and delivered 2.115 million vehicles to terminals in the first half of the year. Additionally, at the 2024 Chengdu Motor Show held on August 30, SAIC Group showcased over 20 new energy models under its six subsidiary companies, introducing “SAIC with Technology.”
