Guangzhou Youmei Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. (Guangzhou Youmei) held a project kick-off event in Guangzhou’s Baiyun District. This project, jointly established by GAC Group and GEM Group, marks Guangzhou’s first waste power battery recycling base. With a total area of approximately 35,000 square meters and an annual battery recycling capacity of up to 50,000 tons, the first phase of investment is set at 190 million yuan. This project contributes to the development of a circular economy and supports China’s dual carbon goals.
