SAIC Motor Corporation (SAIC) and ZTE Corporation (ZTE) jointly held a press conference on August 20, 2024, with the theme “Connecting Wirelessly, Driving Cars into the Future,” and signed an agreement to deepen strategic cooperation. SAIC introduced the world’s first major in-vehicle cloud communication product, applying it to self-branded vehicles like the MG7, enhancing the intelligent network connection level of vehicles. Moving forward, both companies will expand cooperation from 4G to 5G communication modules, in-vehicle OS, and other innovative technologies.
