On August 6, 2024, BYD Auto launched the “BYD Yuan UP” (locally named BYD YUAN PRO) in Santiago, Chile, at the snowy Farellones mountains. This model is the ninth that BYD has introduced to the Chilean market, further enriching its local lineup. The Yuan UP features a high-efficiency heat pump system that operates in a wide temperature range of -30 to 40°C, making it suitable for extreme cold conditions. The GL version comes with four airbags, while the GS version has six, ensuring safety. It is available in three colors: grey, white, and green, and includes a smart NFC card for keyless entry.
