BYD has risen to the 143rd position in the 2024 Fortune Global 500 list, up from 212th last year. In 2023, BYD’s annual revenue reached 602.32 billion yuan, a 42% increase year-on-year, with new energy vehicle sales hitting 3.024 million units, marking its first entry into the global top 10. From January to July 2024, BYD sold 1.947 million new energy vehicles, expanding its international influence. BYD continues to grow in overseas markets, selling in 88 countries and regions. The company also increased its R&D investment to nearly 40 billion yuan in 2023.
