On the qualifying day for the Hungarian Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton finished 5th and George Russell 17th. In cooler conditions during FP3, Lewis placed P10 and George P4. Q1 saw a light rain, making the track slippery, and George couldn’t complete a lap on the drying track, finishing P17. Lewis progressed to Q3, ultimately ending the session in 5th place.
