FAW Group and Changchun City Awarded Pilot City Title for “Vehicle-Road-Cloud Integration” in Intelligent Connected Vehicles

Recently, five ministries including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Natural Resources, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and Ministry of Transport announced the first batch of pilot cities for “Vehicle-Road-Cloud Integration” applications in intelligent connected vehicles. Among the competing cities, Changchun City and FAW Group were selected, demonstrating the success of the “City + Automaker” cooperation model and highlighting FAW’s leadership.

The integration of vehicles, roads, and clouds is the core of China’s intelligent connected car plan and a strategic foundation for future industrial development. The Changchun City Government and FAW Group have established a special class to promote the application demonstration of “Vehicle-Road-Cloud Integration” and ensure efficient and high-quality implementation.

FAW Group and Changchun City aim to promote the construction and application of “Vehicle-Road-Cloud Integration” to create new products and services, laying the foundation for the future smart city travel ecology.
