SAIC Motor Corporation (SAIC) and the Purple Mountain Research Institute have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly develop applications of endogenous safety technology for intelligent connected vehicles. The cooperation includes comprehensive collaboration in areas such as information security testing tools for intelligent connected vehicles, security of cloud control platforms, and more. Together, they aim to create the industry’s first “endogenous safety car,” enhancing the information security quality management of component supply chains.

SAIC began its efforts in the field of intelligent network security as early as 2018, establishing the industry’s first network security laboratory and emergency response center. Now, SAIC continues to work with leading domestic and international security teams to build a digital security foundation characterized by high reliability, trustworthiness, and availability for intelligent connected vehicles.
